The study presented in this article was a multicenter, open-label clinical
trial comparing the efficacy and tolerability of Sodium L-Ascorbyl-2-Phosphate
lotion (APS) and 1% Clindamycin Phosphate Lotion (CL) in patients with
acne vulgaris.
Both APS and CL were well tolerated by the study participants. In addition,
APS was found to be more efficacious than CL in the treatment of facial
acne vulgaris.
